Production Blog
April 1st, Currently my final project is about a minute and 4 seconds long. After editing all the scenes shot so far, some shots will be scratched in future recordings at the rate I am going. Personally, I knew this would happen since we were required to make over 60 shots for the storyboard. However, the 2 minute limit is not enough time to cover every scene that I had planned out. I anticipated that the scenes I have now would total up to about 40 seconds or less. Clearly this wasn't the case. It is my belief that because I didn't take into account how adding title cards would affect the shots, each scene increased gradually time. As of right now, the name of the studio producing the film to who the music in the video is by has all been included. This means I need to add at least 5 more title cards into my final project. Recording the rest of my project is the goal set for today. With one more filming session to go, all I have to do is focus on editing and making my opening scene as creative as possible. I am concerned for the genre however. So far the action-comedy I strive for has not started yet. Thus, I don't know how it looks as of right now. With time running out I'm working as consistently as possible. Because I had a meet yesterday and an upcoming track meet on Saturday my time to work will be limited this week. The best time to work will either be today or Friday.
