Production Blog
April 8th, final filming session will be scheduled for tomorrow. I can't wait to get these shots out of the way and focus on editing. The best part is I am completely free afterschool to work on it. Usually I may have track practice which deters me from filming during week days. Thus, weekends are the most optimal and productive days to shoot scenes. I contacted my cast members to verify if they would be available tomorrow for shooting. Luckily, their response was yes so working on this project has been confirmed and scheduled. Apart from this, nothing else has changed. I'm still hindered from editing my final project any further until I've recorded the last 56 seconds. The only thing I fear may go wrong is if major props, costumes, or cast members are missing on set. It's been so long since my last recording session was done up until now. There have been multiple accounts where filming had to be cancelled or postponed due to resources missing off set. Everything else like location and safety precautions have been consistent for the most part. One major change that may affect my opening scene's consistency unfortunately involves one of my actors. The first half of the film takes place outside. However, Gabut's hairstyle has become a lot different since then. This leaves me with the option to either re-record the first scene all over again or keep things moving forward. By tomorrow I will decide which choice is best for the project and production quality. In the mean time I'm excited to start editing again. Hopefully their will be no more interruptions as well.
