Planning for my Music Video

 Song Title

DJ Mayson - So Much Fun

Props

For my music video the main story will start at home. Then, once the music starts to play, the setting will transition throughout the rest of the video. During the time of the home scene I plan to use a lot of common props such as, a remote control, Bookbag, TV, Couch, Door, and a lot of other home items found around the house.

Costumes

In the video, costumes will consist of casual clothes. There is nothing specific for the actors to wear besides being fully dressed in casual clothing that's not inappropriate. One special scene may require a wrestling mask, but, as of right now I'm still planning out the storyboard which could effect costumes.

Schedule

On 11/13/20, I wrote and posted my intro blog while expressing somewhat of an idea for my music video

On 11/17/20, I researched conventions in popular music videos (specifically upbeat genres)

On 11/17/20, My props, costumes, song, setting, and backup plan were established

On 11/20/20, I will have a completed storyboard ready to go for upcoming filming

Throughout Thanksgiving weekend, I plan to record all the shots needed for my music video

On 11/30/20, After the break I'll start editing the music video using iMovie or another editing software

On 12/7/20, My music video will be done and posted on YouTube

On 12/11/20, I will answer the critical reflection questions

Location

I plan to film the music video at a friend's house along with other scenes that I have yet to establish where they will take place. I want a total of 5 different settings.

Backup plan

If for any reason I can't find the time to film at my friend's house, all production will move towards my house. Substitute actors will be on standby if any other actors are missing from set.

ubstitute actors will be on stand by to replace any actors not on set.
