Planning for Final Task: Location, Participants, Health, Schedule

3/2/2021 OR 3/4/2021​


Depending on circumstances that may follow after today, I will began filming either on Tuesday or Thursday of this week. This session will include shots of scene 1,2,3,4 and 5. My goal is to cover all the shots that take place inside since it's likely to be too dark outside by the time recording starts.​

Film & editing blog due March 4th

3/8/2021, 3/9/2021, and 3/11/2021
Because I will be occupied during the weekend, filming will resume next week starting Monday. I placed and extra date to film in the same week to make-up the time loss over the weekend. On these dates i will cover the next 5 scenes that will take place outside. These scenes will require a lot of light so the sun must be out at its best. Thus, filming will start at 3 until all good lighting is gone.​

Film & editing blog due March 8th and 11th




3/14/2021​


March 14 falls on a Sunday which is perfect to start filming early. I will cover at least 8 scenes or more with the intent to wrap up filming the opening scene. At this point everything will be strictly filmed outside, so lighting is key. Filming will start around noon and if we still have time after finishing 8 scenes, I will begin to work on additional ones.



3/18/2021 OR 3/21/2021​


On March 18th or 21st I will go through my last filming session for the opening scene. Preferably, I plan to get it done March 21st because it's another weekend and the start of spring break. My goal is to finish recording my march so I can spend the rest of my time on editing the opening scene and putting everything together.



3/26/2021​









I will began editing and cutting down all my shots so that the final product adds up to about 2 minutes or less​



4/1/2021


To give myself a break, I plan to continue editing in April. This session will be all about adding title cards throughout the opening scene. At this point I will know how I want to space them out.

4/7/2021​


This will be my last day of editing. In this session, all that's left to do is add a few touches to the film. This could be in the form of revising or fixing any shots along with their added title card​

During meet ups for filming, each will wear mask and follow social distancing safety guidelines to ensure everyone's protection.​

Mask will only be taken off during the we are filming scenes​

My friend's mom will be on the set to supervise our safety along with Luke Jackson, who is a close friend of the family.

Editing Blog: 1 minute Dilemma

 Ever since I finished filming, I couldn't wait to start editing my music video. Many ideas ran across my mind about how I should go about this process. Most of my focus was towards what edits can I possibly incorporate into my project that would make it entertaining. This consisted of transitions, filters, effects, and more. To start off, my first move was to position each scene in order to see what it would look like at it's base form. Upon further review I noticed that the video was about a minute and 25 seconds long. In all honesty, I didn't expect it to go that far beyond the time limit, but never the less, I had to fix this problem immediately before I could include anything else.  First scene- For the opening of my commercial, an athlete/actor will be dressed up in their track uniform. This will show the audience what team this commercial will be about. The actor will proceed to show off the jersey by tugging it from both sides. This should pop the logo in and out to attract the viewers attention. Also, the athlete will give a smug smile to the camera just to show how confident they're towards wearing the jersey. Second scene- The next scene will be another shot of a solo athlete in uniform while wearing medals. They will flex their biceps as a sign of showing their always winning. This will give the audience an idea of how talented Fort Lauderdale's track team really is. And to top it off, the actor will have a boastful expression on their face.  Third scene- The last solo shot will once again be an athlete in uniform. artofthetitles.com 1) In the Guardians of the Galaxy 2 opening scene all of  the main actors of the film are displayed first as chaos plays out. soon after the actors are mentioned, the executive producer, director, writers, and others who worked on the film are displayed throughout the scene. 2&3) We see all the guardians from the previous movie face off against an intergalactic monster to start off the movie. this displays that intense level of action the audience has been waiting for since the first release of guardians of the galaxy. weapons, explosions, and swords are all being used to the creature down but, the guardians are still getting handled in the process. this makes it all the more funny in the process. 4)      Baby Groot, mischievous and distracted in his own world, dances to music from Star-Lord’s second mixtape while the Guardians throw down in the background, out of focus.
