Intro Blog: Introduction to Music Video Project

 For this project I decided to work by myself. In our current condition as the coronavirus pandemic continues, I believe it will be a lot easier to work alone at my own pace. This way I won't have to rely on others to get their part of the work done. I'm very confident in my creativity to produce a well throughout and entertaining music video. I plan to use actors outside of Aice Media Studies. This means my closest family or friends are likely to be apart of my video when we get to recording. If things were different and school went back to the way things were last year I would've considered working in a group. However, Communication and organization will likely be difficult to control since we'll have to take in to account safety guidelines for covid protection. Not to mention, some kids are in school while others are learning from home.

Song  

For my music video I chose to use the song "So Much Fun" by DJ Mayson. To best describe this song I would use the words Upbeat and Groovy. I was inspired to use this by a popular content creator who goes by Lenarr. Making a music video over a sad song or rap song wasn't something I was interested in. I want the theme of the video to be entertaining and somewhat funny for the audience to watch. so id chose to go with songs that light up the room. This however just so happen to be the perfect selection that I've heard.

 On March 11th, I filmed the first 15 shots my opening scene for Nunchucks VS. the world. I'm still looking into a better name for the title of my project but until then I don't have anything better. It was a lot of fun filming for he first time on this project since all my other attempts had to be cancelled. Personally, I didn't expect to spend so much on shots that I had already planned out in my storyboard. Most shots required retakes or comparisons for the best optimal take. As I realized this during the filming session, I knew right away all my shots could not be covered in a day. However, I'm okay with that being the case because not only will this make my film more organized, I also get to spend a lot more time with the actors who are better known as my closest friends. Title Research: Guardians of the Galaxy 2

artofthetitles.com 1) In the Guardians of the Galaxy 2 opening scene all of  the main actors of the film are displayed first as chaos plays out. soon after the actors are mentioned, the executive producer, director, writers, and others who worked on the film are displayed throughout the scene. 2&3) We see all the guardians from the previous movie face off against an intergalactic monster to start off the movie. this displays that intense level of action the audience has been waiting for since the first release of guardians of the galaxy. weapons, explosions, and swords are all being used to the creature down but, the guardians are still getting handled in the process. this makes it all the more funny in the process. 4)      Baby Groot, mischievous and distracted in his own world, dances to music from Star-Lord’s second mixtape while the Guardians throw down in the background, out of focus.
