First scene-
For the opening of my commercial, an athlete/actor will be dressed up in their track uniform. This will show the audience what team this commercial will be about. The actor will proceed to show off the jersey by tugging it from both sides. This should pop the logo in and out to attract the viewers attention. Also, the athlete will give a smug smile to the camera just to show how confident they're towards wearing the jersey.
Second scene-
The next scene will be another shot of a solo athlete in uniform while wearing medals. They will flex their biceps as a sign of showing their always winning. This will give the audience an idea of how talented Fort Lauderdale's track team really is. And to top it off, the actor will have a boastful expression on their face.
Third scene-
The last solo shot will once again be an athlete in uniform. However, they will give a flying L sign towards the camera for representation. I also added a head nod for good measure.
Each of the first 3 scenes will be in Slow Mo and only last for up to 4-5 seconds. Additionally, all athletes will be paned into the camera rather than a stationary shot.
Forth scene-
In this scene three actors will walk up to the starting line as they prepare to start their run/workout. To get everyone in the shot I decided to have them spaced out as they walk towards the line. As they walk, their facial expressions are serious and determined.
Fifth scene-
An over the shoulder shot will show an instructor starting the timer on a stopwatch. Once the counter starts the actors are prompt to run towards the edge of the camera. Some may wear a watch just for show.
Sixth scene-
The sixth scene will be an alternate shot of the actor running from the starting line. The camera will face the front of them as they take off and turn into the curve of the track.
Seventh scene-
After finishing the run, an actor will collapse to the ground on all fours. They will appear to be breathing hard an sweaty. Their head will be facing the ground to look even more realistic.
Eighth scene-
A friendly teammate walks up to the athlete on the ground and helps them up. They reach their hand out to the athlete on the ground. To which the athlete, whose tired, grabs their hand and jumps back on their feet. This scene shows how positive the atmosphere is on the team.
Ninth Scene-
While the actors hands are still held together, more athletes put their hand on the pile to form a signature huddle. Camera will then pan around all the actors in the huddle as they look at each other and began to chant. Towards the end of the chant all the athletes will throw their hands in the air as the shot continues to move towards the sky.
The words "Strong and True White and Blue" will pop up on the screen as the commercial fades to black.
